It has 163 floors above the ground level and 1 floor below the ground level. The developer of this building or the owner of this building is Emaar. It will remain on the top in the list of tallest buildings by 2016. It is for shopping, residential and also for commercial usage. Every year New Year in Dubai is celebrated at Burj Khalifa building and they display the world’s highest New Year fireworks from this building. 2. India Tower (MUMBAI, INDIA) India Tower is located in Mumbai, India. Its construction was started in 2010 and was again put on hold in the year 2011. It is a super tall building of India and its height is 718 meters or 2362 feet tall. It has 126 floors. It is definitely going to make it place in the world’s tallest buildings by 2016. 3. Shanghai Tower (SHANGHAI, CHINA) Shanghai Tower is located in Shanghai, China. Its construction was started in November 2008 and it is expected to be completed by 2015. Its total height is 632 meters or 2073 feet tall. It has 128 floors above the ground level and 5 floors below the ground level. It is for hotel or office purpose. 4. Makkah Royal Clock Tower Hotel (MAKKAH, SAUDI ARABIA) Makkah Royal Clock Tower Hotel is located in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Its construction was started in 2004 and it was completed in the year 2010. Its height is 601 meters or 1972 feet tall. It has 12 floors above the ground level and 3 floors below the ground level. The owners of the building are Saudi Bin laden groups. It will be one among the tallest building by 2016. 5. Ping an International Finance Tower Center 1 (SHENZHEN, CHINA) Ping, an International Finance Tower Center 1 is located in Shenzhen, China. Its construction was started in 2010 and expected to be completed by 2016 and will be rated one among the tallest buildings by 2016. Its height is 660 meters or 2165 feet tall. It has 115 floors above the ground level and 5 floors below the ground level. 6. Goldin Finance 117 (TIANJIN, CHINA) Goldin Finance 117 is located in Tianjin, China. This buildings construction started in 2009 and it is expected to be completed by 2015 and be in the list if tallest buildings by 2016. This building has 128 floors above the ground level and 4 floors below the ground level. Its height is 579 meters or 1959 feet tall. 7. Freedom Tower (New York City) One world trade center which was formerly known as Freedom towers is located in Manhattan, New York City, USA. It is one of the tallest buildings in the western Hemisphere. Its construction was started in April 2006 and it was ready by 2013. It has 104 floors. Its height is 541 meters or 1776 feet in height. It is the primary building of the world trade center. 8. Chow Tai Fook Center (GUANGZHOU, CHINA) Chow Tai Fook Center is located Guangzhou, China. Its construction was started in 2012 and it is expected to be completed by 2016. This building has 111 floors above ground level and 5 floors under the ground level and the height of the building is 530 meters or 1740 feet tall. It is both for residential and hotel purpose. 9. Pentominium – DUBAI Pentominium is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Its construction started in the year 2009 and it is halted since august 2011 but the construction will resume soon and it will be one of the tallest buildings by 2016. It is a building of 122 floors and the height of the building is 516 meters or it is 1692 feet tall. It is going to be a tallest residential tower in the world. 10. Taipei 101 Mall – TAIWAN Taipei 101 is also called as Taipei World finance centre. It is located in Taipei, Taiwan. Its construction was completed in 1999 and opened on 31st Dec 2004. This building has 101 floors above the ground level and 5 floors below the ground level and its height is 508 meters or 1667 feet tall.
