Leave West Street Car Park and turn left. Cross Market Street and head towards the Promenade. Go past The Mitre (1). (1) The Mitre (photo: page.1) First licensed in 1898, this is possibly the smallest public house in town. Its fabric is possibly the last remaining part of Dobson's Row, a small group of buildings dating back to the 18th Century. A former grocers, café and for a few years known as 'ye old glue pot', it became the Mitre Hotel in 1902. To follow this on a map click this link: http://goo.gl/maps/WtyJ7
