Rosoli had a “snake-proof” suit made for him that would supposedly help him survive the bone-breaking pressure of an anaconda’s constriction. The crew found an Anaconda in the Amazon and got Rosoli to approach it in his suit. The Anaconda began to wrap around him and swallowed his head. Rosoli began to feel his arms breaking and called for help before it went any further. # 7 Highwire Walk Nik Wallenda is an American acrobat and daredevil who is best known for his high-wire performances that he often does without any safety net or safeguard. He’s the seventh generation of The Flying Wallendas, a family of circus performers. He has regularly set world records, walking on higher and higher tightropes. One of his most spectacular stunts had him crossing the Canada-United States Border on the Niagara Falls. This was the first time in his life that Wallenda had to wear a safety harness while performing, crossing a high wire 121 feet in the misty air above the waterfall. # 6 Frozen in Time On November 27 in the year 2000, millions of viewers all around the world watched David Blaine as he performed one of his most dangerous magic trick, live on TV. He encased himself in a block of ice with a small hollow in the middle for 63 hours, 42 minutes, and 15 seconds before being removed. Blaine stood still in the transparent block, drinking through a tube, using a catheter, and sleeping in short spurts. Blaine was hospitalized after the stunt reportedly haunted by hallucinations and lack of feeling in his legs. # 5 French SpiderMan This is Alain Robert, nicknamed the French Spiderman because of his world famous rock climbing and urban climbing abilities. He has scaled buildings like the New York Times building and the Burj Khalifa the tallest skyscraper in the world - often without any permission. He even attempted to climb the Trump Tower in August of 2016. Equipped with six suction cups, Robert began to scale the building, dodging police and security who attempted to apprehend him. This stunt garnered lots of news coverage and momentarily took the internet by storm. It was just another crazy footnote in the rollercoaster we called the 2016 American Presidential Campaign. # 4 Nail Bed Sandwich Spikey Will is a street performer that calls himself the Man of Danger! He performs on the streets of London and primarily focuses on comedic stunts that put himself in danger. One of his most prolific stunts involves him getting in between two beds of nails and having a volunteer stand on top. It is amazing he isn’t turned into a shish kebab, but it is also from this stunt that he likely got his performer name. # 3 On the Edge of Dubai Oleg Cricket is an urban climber best known for recording himself climbing up to the top of some of the tallest buildings in the world and standing right on the edge of more than a hundred foot falls. He has ridden hoverboards, done handstands, and hung off the edge of the Dubai Marina and has even slid down the roof of a skyscraper in a spine tingling video full of stunts posted to his Youtube channel. # 2 Catching the Bullet One of the oldest stunts / magic tricks that magicians have been performing for centuries is the act of catching a bullet in one’s mouth. Usually, the act involves an audience member inspecting and marking a bullet before loading it into a gun and shooting it into the mouth of the magician who catches the bullet with a cup or their teeth. This stunt has resulted in the deaths of at least six magicians since 1820 and performed by Penn & Teller and David Blaine in contemporary times. There really isn’t much trickery to this; the magicians have to actually catch bullets shot at them with a metal cup they have in their mouth, possibly making it one of the most dangerous magic tricks performed. # 1 Deepest Dive Herbert Nitsch is an Austrian-born freediver who has held world records in eight different disciplines of freediving. He has earned the nickname “deepest man on earth” because of his increasingly deeper and deeper dives into the ocean. In the deepest dive ever accomplished by anyone, Nitsch reached a depth of 818.6 feet or 249.5 meters on June 6, 2012. While Nitsch managed to go the distance without any complications, while he was being pulled up he fell into a sudden state of narcosis, and the pressure triggered a series of strokes in his brain that left his memory, speech, and mobile skills damaged. Luckily, he has since recovered from the worst of those conditions.
