You might not believe that these pictures aren't photoshopped but it's true! From the amazing huge hotel aquarium to a red beach! 12. San Boldo Pass Though it may be hard to believe until you are actually there, this mountain pass in Italy is regularly full of sheep, and I mean a lot of sheep. The pass is nicknamed the Road of 100 Days due to the fact that it was rapidly constructed to be used as a road for transporting heavy artillery and supplies during World War One. 11. The Room of Illusion This room appears to go down several stories, but it’s actually a giant optical illusion done by Brazilian artist Regina Silveira. Clearly there is no danger of falling, but it’s so well done that your brain will be screaming for you to stay out when you are walking into this room. 10. The Line This line of color runs through a deserted Hungarian town and shows the results of a disaster. An aluminum company’s toxic waste burst in October of 2010, sending a million cubic meters of sludge into the surrounding towns and countryside. The catastrophe killed nine people and forced several villages in the area to be abandoned. The head of the company who built the reservoir was arrested for criminal negligence as a result of the incident. 9. Defying Gravity From 2003 to 2006 French Artist Philippe Ramette created a series of gravity defying photos. Though they look like classic Photoshop, Ramette feels that nothing should be faked. He goes to great lengths to create these incredible shots, building hidden metal supports to create the hard to believe images that he sees as a statement about gravity and man’s relationship to landscape. 8. High End Tennis Court This tennis court is normally a helipad that is 650 feet above the ground and it rests on top of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai. The pad was temporarily converted into the world’s highest tennis court in 2005. As a publicity stunt tennis stars Roger Federer and Andre Agassi were filmed going up to and playing a tennis match on this terrifying temporary court. 7. Dam Plughole This man made hole located at the Ladybower Reservoir in the UK is totally real and pretty amazing to look at. It drains water during extreme rainfall to prevent overflow in the dam. There are two bellmouth overflows in the reservoir and they are only completely submerged in extremely wet weather. 6. Changi Airport Though it looks like a plane has been photoshopped into this picture, this is actually a normal occurrence at Singapore’s Changi Airport. What you are seeing is a plane going down an aircraft taxiway that connects the north and south runways of the airport. While it must be safe, it certainly looks dangerous and nerve-wrecking to drive under the taxiway with a huge plane just feet above you. 5. Sinkhole This is an actual sinkhole that occurred in Guatemala City in 2010. It was 60 feet wide and 200 feet deep and swallowed a three story factory when it appeared. Sinkholes are a surprisingly common occurrence in Guatemala City and are very dangerous in nature and in their unpredictability. This one was the result of a combination of the Tropical Storm Agatha, leakage from sewage pipes and the eruption of the Pacaya Volcano. 4. Tall Man Small Car Most NBA players accept the fact that they can’t drive smaller vehicles and get cars that are roomy and big enough to contain their giant frames. It isn’t like they lack the money to make such purchases. Apparently Marcin Gortat would not accept his fate and instead decided to get a small car with a hole cut in the roof to stick his head out of. 3. The Hole House No this isn’t photoshopped. It’s also not a rip in the space time continuum. It is simply the result of someone that had a great idea for an art piece in Houston, Texas. Before two houses were demolished they were temporarily turned into this incredible piece of art in 2005. 2. Dogaroos While you may think this is a photoshopped picture these are actually Filipino dogs that were born without front legs. These Dogaroos were able to overcome their severe handicaps and lived happy and healthy lives. Imagine how strong those rear legs must have gotten over years of hopping around. 1. The Red Beach These amazing pictures have not been filtered in any way. It is a beach located in the biggest wetland and reed marsh in the world in Panjin, China. The visual phenomenon is caused by a type of sea weed that turns vividly red in the autumn.
