Why this comment section is full of "Haha, you're wrong. R+L=J confirmed"?
The books are the books and the show is the show, you fucking morons. -
Hello Preston I am a huge fan of your channel and videos! I find that you have a knack for investigating stories and explaining the hidden clues that the authors have left for us. I have recently come across what seems to be a newer channel and would like your take on the theories they put forward. The channel is called the order of the green hand and i am curious of what you think about their Jon Snow parentage theory. Thank you

I definitely like the idea that R+L=D more than the prevailing theory, however my mind has one nagging counterpoint. It seems very possible that Ned is so adamant to defend Daenerys is a psychological byproduct from his promise to his sister to protect one child from Robert's wrath. He may feel that he must protect all children from Robert's wrath.

Lyanna and Raegar were banging in a tower for months so she's bound to be preggers. Kills me everytime.
-
Could he be taking Jon to Dorne because he was the son of the song of the morning?
-
If readers were able to figure out the ending to some major plot point in the book early on in the series (big enough to cause grrm to consider changing the story) then it is totally possible that R+L=J is it.

I love sitting on my bed, listening to preston jacobs, while cooking up and slamming a fat shot of tar.
Also, where do you get the pictures of the cartoon characters ??? Anyone please respond. -
Ashara had black hair. She wan't kissed by fire, as the picture in the video suggests. It bothers me.

He is talking about the book. Jon and Dany's linage is still an ongoing book plot. Considering the amount of fan service in Season Six is it really hard to believe that D&D went with the most popular fan theory to explain Jon's birth. The book plot is more complicated and less predictable.

Shame Ding* Shame* Ding*Shame*Ding !!!!!!

Here is my favourite theory on Jon's parentage: he is the child of Ned and some random woman (eg Wylla). I think this is thematically by far the best for the following reasons:
- Ned fathering a bastard fits - Jon and Robb both fuck up due to lust, and they are both similar to Ned in almost all other aspects
- I've never liked the idea that Jon is a secret chosen-one-princey thing due to his birth - why can't a bastard be a hero?
- Jon not being a bastard would kinda be like Tyrion turning out to not be a dwarf - it is a disadvantage that he should have to live with, and taking it away would kinda be admitting that bastards are shit
- GRRM loves to shit on tropes, and what bigger trope than the "hidden prince" descended from great heroes who inherits their legacy and is super great and will save the world and all that jazz?
R+L=D seems more likely, but I much much prefer this theory in terms of story. -
there one thing i dont get how howland reed got beaten by squiers and soon after was so bedass he could take up against kingsgaurd
-
Who do you think Selmy would crown as the queen of beauty
-
In the show neds sister tell him that Rob would kill the baby if he found out. that is when she makes him promise.

This video is so worthless now

You are fucking annoying dude

r+l=j is correct
now who is the laughing tree knight in the tourney -
I now believe that Ned Stark was the Knight of the Laughing Tree. The reason I say that is 1) Ned says he Never participates in a joust because he doesn't want a man to see what he can do. Therefore he used to sigil of an Unknown Laughing Tree so no one would know it was him. 2) Lyana was a talented "horsewoman. " No One Ever said she was a jouster nor had any fighting ability. I doubt she would have been able to defeat 3 men no matter how badd-assed people want to believe she was. 3) Jojen Reed told Bran: "When I told my father about your father, for the first time in my life, I saw him cry." Now ask yourself, what would have instilled such love and devotion in Howland Reed for Edard Stark? I don't believe it was just his participation in the fight with Ned at the Tower of Joy, nor that Howland was just his sworn bannerman. I believe it was Ned who avenged Howland at the Tourney at Harrenhal.

Fuck Game of Thrones and fuck D&D.

Edric Dayne was Jon Snow's "milk brother", and Wylla was the wet nurse.
