After more than two years of construction, Central Michigan University’s $95 million Biosciences Building is complete. Clark Construction Co. employees began working with Stantec Inc. architects on the construction of CMU’s largest-ever capital project on July 2, 2014 and concluded the first week of September. The 169,000-square-foot building is will address escalating student demand and dramatically improve the quality and quantity of instructional learning and scientific research space. It is located on the south end of campus in between the Engineering and Technology Building and the Education and Human Services Building. Crews are continuing to prepare the facility for research and classes to begin in January 2017.
