This clip graphically shows why Irene's track is continues be be dangerous. The NWS Advisories still show NYC area landfall as a Cat 1 (but of course if you're in a high rise, the wind will be exponentially higher; that's what we experienced with Wilma. Please check on your friends, family and special needs individuals near you... and as always, fill Ziploc bags with water (not to the top) and stuff as many as you can in the Freezer, fill the bathtub so you have water to flush the toiler, get a battery operated lantern (easier to use than flashlights) and as Springer would say, "Take care of yourselves... and each other"
