No.. this is not a scene from Star Wars or any other Sci-fi flick.. Truly a historic moment.. the inauguration of the world's tallest tower..The Burj Dubai (Rechristened Burj Khalifa). Watch the whole thing for an amazing display of pyrotechnics.. Glad to be a part of this event.. We were lucky enough to capture this event to the cam from a good spot.. This is from a still camera; regret not having a proper video camera for this moment. Filled in what I deemed as appropriate soundtracks - Carmina Burana and Michael Angelo Batio's version of Deep Purple's "Burn"
