BurJuman is one of the oldest shopping centers in Dubai; located at its heart. BurJuman is more than a retail destination, though. The distinctive landmark comprises over 2.8 million square feet of mixed-use space, including the shopping mall, business towers, hotel suites and duplex residences. Known as the residence of high fashion, BurJuman has one of the finest concentrations of luxury brands in Dubai. In 2006, BurJuman announced renovations to the center, which was first opened in 1992, as part of its ongoing commitment to offer retail tenants and customers an enhanced shopping and entertainment experience. Furthermore, in order to accompany this high fashion, luxury experience, Burjuman felt it appropriate to include sophisticated displays of water to enhance the overall finesse and entertainment factor of their establishment. A testament to Crystal Fountains versatility, 18 unique and structurally complex fountain experiences were created within a very small footprint. Interpreting the creative expression of the retail designer, similar materials for the water features were used, including marble, onyx, stainless steel and granite. These stylish bases give way to clear streams, water walls, cascades, lily ponds, water under glass, sequenced water effects, laminar streams and misting. The culmination of all these water features, located in such a distinct and impressive center, echo's the intricacy and sophistication of this vision for Burjuman. The fountains have continued to contribute to this high-class establishment for almost a decade now; aiding Burjuman in leaving it's legacy as one of Dubai's top centres.
