Dubai, CTBUH 13th Annual Awards Dinner

6th November, 2014. The 13th Annual Awards Ceremony & Dinner was held in Mies van der Rohe's iconic Crown Hall, on the Illinois Institute of Technology campus, Chicago. The 2014 "Best Tall Building Overall" award went to One Central Park in Sydney, Australia. The 10 Year Award was given to the Post Tower, Bonn and the Tall Building Innovation Award was awarded to BioSkin. The regional awards included: Americas -- Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt Federal Building; Asia & Australasia -- One Central Park; Europe -- De Rotterdam; Middle East & Africa -- Cayan Tower. Lifetime Achievement awards were given to Douglas Durst of The Durst Organization (Lynn S. Beedle Award) and Dr. Peter Irwin of RWDI Consulting Engineers (Fazlur R. Khan Medal).
