This scheme's twisted form is influenced by a number of factors; (i) its dynamic site bounded by the Docklands Light Railway, (ii) extensive wind tunnel testing used to optimize the building form in order to promote cross ventilation, pedestrian comfort at ground floor level and to maximize the potential for harnessing the wind power. Within the tower's exoskeletal structure, interlocking key-worker apartments are located. These are all dual-aspect, offering views to different parts of the city, whilst also allowing for cross ventilation
