The amazing fireworks show on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai for the opening of the Atlantis Palm Hotel. The whole night is reported to have cost over $20 million. The company that did the fireworks display for the Beijing Olympics in China was hired to do this show here in Dubai. Fireworks were set off all the way around the crescent and all fronds of the Palm Jumeirah. It was truly one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. ...only in Dubai is such a spectacle possible. Guest list is rumored to include Oprah, Wesley Snipes, Chris Tucker, Robert De Niro, Lindsay Lohan, Charlize Theron, Ben Affleck, Richard Branson and many others. November 21, 2008
