The inaugural 'Dubai Festival of Lights,' will take place 20-29 March, 2014! Prepare to see Downtown in a different light. Well in fact, so many lights that it will make it one of the brightest spots on earth for 10 whole nights. From the Waterfront Promenade to The Dubai Malll and Burj Khalifa the length and breadth of Downtown Dubai will be illuminated during the Dubai Festival of Lights. Emaar Properties has joined hands with famous Ville de Lyon's Festival of Lights, to bring this magical experience to one of the world's most visited tourist destinations, Downtown Dubai! Every evening from 7pm to 12am. #BeThere #DubaiLights

I was there - the lights were fantastic. Such a lot of time and effort must have gone into producing all the effects. I particularly liked the elephant and of course the large handbag!
