Local tip: Make a reservation for evening drinks at Atmosphere on the 124th Floor of the Aramni hotel inside the Burj Khalifa. It has a minimum spend of two drinks is almost the same floor as the viewing deck but a million times more impressive, no tourists and you see the hotel lobby that was in Mission Impossible ;)

What would a great attraction be without a gift shop? Maybe they should do a trick with the elevator as you're going up. Rig it to where it would drop a few floors, make the people in the car think that they're falling and get a picture of their faces. I know it's a cruel thought, but just imagine some of the expressions we could get when we got to the gift shop where they would sell our brush with death photos to us.

Wow that cruise ship looked tiny from where you were. I'm curious that you'd be able to see anything at all at the top....I think you'd only be $100+ lighter.
