Burj Al Arab - Dubai’s iconic hotel owned by the Jumeirah Group is adding a private luxury North Deck spread over an area of 10,000 square metres. The highlight is that it will fan out 100 metres out into the Arabian Gulf housing 32 cabanas, 400 sun loungers, one freshwater pool measuring 612 square metres, one saltwater pool measuring 828 square metres, one restaurant and a bar. The deck will be open for public anytime in the second half of 2016. Made from steel and weighing around 5,000 tonnes, the North Deck left Finland on 9th January 2016 and is currently being transported to Dubai by sea.
