Dubai, Effect of building swaying from the wind

The wind is blowing very hard and the blinds' rod is swaying with the building. The wood floor cracking can be heard in the distance.

haha.. obviously a draft. if it was swaying then you would be able to see the view out of the window moving. not windy enough!

@avq5, @fitzpatrickgf, yes, that's the LSD in Chicago on the background :) @sparklerbombg these are two pane glass windows. They are airtight and, indeed, do a very good job insulating outside noise. Most highrise building in the city have similar windows

@fitzpatrickgf thanks, that's a good point but in this case it's not the draft, the windows are solid. We have hanging lights in the kitchen area that would also swing so I will make a point to record them next time there are strong winds. It was quite windy last week to the point the walls were squeaking - hopefully that gets captured on the video too.
