Hi I Am Bangladeshi job me

When I did housekeeping almost 20 years ago my co-workers and I were not protected against bodily fluids such as vomit, urine, and feces, I was wondering if there is protection such as masks and gloves now?
-
Ironic, I just started working at Fairfield Inn & Suites and I get to see this video, lol. Hopefully I can get better with this! Only difference is that they don't make us do all that, though. o.o

I have worked for Fairfield Inn for nearly 12 years......this guy looks like he has cleaned his first room. Gloves for dusting? Really? Also if you are going to make a cleaning video, maybe make sure your bathroom caulk doesn't have mold on it.

any people can help me about the link for apply room attendant in UK?
-
ours is 20 min per room. I take an hour. I'm new. but, I don't think I'll ever get faster. it's too much. I don't see how it's possible. apparently I do something different and wrong in every room. when I leave I'm proud but they say it's not good enough. my back is killing me. I'm not sure how long I can keep this up for. and as for tips, I find like 2 dollars a day..

Hi Candace, how was your... day... so farrr...?
-
i hope i can work on that hotel when i graduate in housekeeping
-
Why is the toilet brush right next to the cups?
-
Sorry but there no way hotels clean this way I stayed in any type of hotels the way I leave the floor is the way I find it but I am not blaming anyone because if they do a complete cleaning they will never finish all rooms daily.

Ur gay accent made me smile
-
Thank to those who tip. Please dont leave any tips on a counter or the bed. Other staff go in rooms of departed guests and if you leave out in open, the housekeeper never sees it.
-
ND. This area rife with jobhoppers. Employers can fire you at the drop of a hat. And they do. Dont like it? They bring in illegals from Africa or Mexico and pay them even less.
-
I also agree. I always take care of house keeping, it's a tough job many hotel guest disregard and just expect. I always thank and take care of the ladies where ever I go. Thank you housekeeping! :-)

Some hotels do not want to spend money on proper cleaning equipment. They use old torn towels as cleaning clothes and there is no duster or mop which means you have to go on your knees to clean the floor and no gloves. Scotts Hotel in Killarney is the worst. I had to fight for my salary plus they deduct for boarding/food which I never eat because I couldn't even take lunch break because of the 30 minute a room to 16 rooms a day rule and a supervisor that is constantly breathing down your neck wasting your time in over explaining things and forcing you to watch while she cleans after when you already done the work.

Any house keeping job that pays minimum wage will most likley not be worth it, unless you get good tips, averaging 12+ $ an hour. House keeping is the worste job ever, very physically demanding, back breaking work. from 3 hours, to possible 8+ hours of work, not consistent. Also people are fucking gross slobs, leaving nasty shit and garbage all over. needles, condoms, diapers.
