Dubai, Fire breaks out at a Dubai Hotel near Burj Khalifa, 16 injured

A huge fire ripped through a luxury Dubai hotel tonight as people gathered to watch New Year's Eve celebrations, injuring at least 16 people. Dubai's government media office tweeted that a "fire has been reported in the Address Downtown hotel. Authorities are currently on-site to address the incident swiftly and safely". The cause of the blaze was not immediately known. The building is close to Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower, was engulfed in flames across several floors as sirens wailed and helicopters hovered overhead, witnesses said. विश्व के सबसे ऊंचे टावर बुर्ज खलीफा के पास दुबई में एक लग्जरी होटल में भीषण आग लग गई जिसमें कम से कम 16 लोग घायल हुए हैं जबकि 1 की मौत हो गई. इस टावर के पास लोग नववर्ष समारोह देखने के लिए एकत्र हुए थे. दुबई शासन के मीडिया कार्यालय ने ट्वीट किया कि एड्रेस डॉउनटाउन होटल में आग लग गई है. अधिकारी घटना से तेजी से और सुरक्षित रूप से निपटने के लिए मौके पर पहुंचे. प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के मुताबिक 63 मंजिला इमारत की कई मंजिलों में आग फैल गई . दुबई पुलिस प्रमुख ने बताया कि होटल में मौजूद सभी लोगों को आग लगने की जगह से निकाल लिया गया.
