Actually "High Tea" is served on a "High Table" and includes a very light evening meal as well as desert, what they are actually having " Low Tea" which is served on a low table and is comprised of deserts and is actually supposed to be more formal and attended by one's aquaintances, while high tea is less elegant, though formal in itself, it is less public and includes one's friends or family. Just throwing that out there
