You don't have to spend a fortune on a cake to make it memorable. In this video, part 4 of an 11-part series, you'll learn how to frost the top layer of a princess castle cake. We've take our second part of our castle cake out of the refrigerator also, and what we want to do is just repeat the same thing that we've done with our bottom portion. And we're going to cover it and smoothen the sides. Again, you'll put a nice portion on the top so you can get it all the way across. This time I'm going to use a smaller spatula. All right. And we've smoothened out our top all the way to the edges. And now we're going to do all four sides. Once we've gotten that iced we'll go ahead and use our smoother again just to smoothen out the sides of our cake. All right. And I will remove the extra icing from across the top. All right. And now that we've smoothened this out we'll go ahead and stack our cakes and then we'll finish our castle.
