The ugliness of all American /Australian/South Asian sky-scrapers and high -rise buildings is matchless!!! Such utterly tall and utterly ugly buildings begin to mar the once so sweet and fairy-tale-like setting of our pretty Europe! Architects with such NON-EUROPEAN STANDARDS ,Do stay there and mar your sternly looking Americas and Australias ,do not came here to mar our loveliest Europe!

Sometimes I thought China how they are taking everything in a moment ???

Wait what, there's a garden right near the top!?
99% of people would shit themselves up there. -
Are you fucking kidding me? Just 8 meters taller than the Burj Khalifa? The Chinese are some clever fuckers. :D

People just complain too much. I don't care about if it looks like an empty soul cube, but they need to realize that the main objective of this kind of projects is to be practical. It is not about a beauty contest. Some building will be designed with "style" and that shit, but always depend on what the owners are pusuing and their target market. If I get tired of being inside that kind of building, I just go down and put a shelter tent for a weekend.
I hardly understand people. The Twin Towers were two grey sticks in the middle of NYC but some people loved them. You show them this project and complain about the design... really? Dubai made a lot ofwaste money shitjust to please their monarchy and people just go crazy about it.
They also complain about chinese "quality". Money talks. In China they will do from the cheapest to the high tech. It depends on how much a random company could afford and want to invest on their products. Almost everything mainstream of our life is from China or part of it came from there; at least many products, surely, were in one of chinese ports. Don't hope that a emerging country could do the same way as a developed one; is foolish to think so.
These kind of arguments about quality and so on remind me of the rising of Japan after war. People also complained about japanese products but now many have a good opinion. Quality came with experience and money, of course. -
$20 says someone will base jump off that thing within 1 year of its construction.

Unless everyone in the world is watching . And this most certainly will be the focus of not just domestic China, but the WORLD! One thing Chinese hates more than anything is losing face in front of foreigners.

Ready for domestic citizen's retirement plans as a form of asset holding.

Currently only about 50% of Chinese live in urban areas but this is expected to continue rising over the decades so this building will definitely be filled. I am however concerned and skeptical at how and why they want to get this building done in less than a year, and very concerned about potential safety issues especially since they seem to be rushing everything. Everyone knows China doesn't exactly have a reputation for making high quality products.

Imagine how noisy it is in there though
-
I so want to live here! Hopefully the cities spread to USA! :D
