you don't need to copy the other phantom's movement exactly, you just need to make an X with the bottom right title being the last one you step on.

Am i the only 1 that whips phantom zelda everytime i want her to move faster

I did that puzzle the hard way at 15:24, I just got noticed and moved the phantom eye that way and let the phantoms die in the sand

You can actually screw up your entire save file by using the first key on the door in the lower left on the first floor: you can't get another one in that area and have to start the entire game again.

I walk threw those spikes all the time.
But zelda can't pick up link in this area so she has to stop the stupid boulders. -

at the end if you warp to the right side and try to atttack the phantom with zelda, it says 'i'm walking a very specific path' which is to clue you in as to what to do.. just commenting this because you said the game doesn't tell you what to do. nice playthrough though, i watch after to make sure i'm not missing anything sometimes.

When I saw the block, I thought it was stuck in the differently colored area

You can kill eyes easilly with the whip, just two fast whips, poff :)
That is how I get through the Pantome and get the last tear ;)
