India will soon get the tallest residential tower in the world - Lodha's World One. The tower is coming up on a 17.5-acre site, which belonged to Srinivas Cotton Mills in Mumbai. Lodha Group acquired the plot for Rs 250 crore (US$40 million). The project is estimated to complete in 2014, according to Wikipedia. World One's architect is Pei Cobb Freed & Partners with Armani. Leslie E. Robertson Associates is the structural engineer. The apartment prices in World One would start from Rs 7.5 crore (US$1.2 million) and the most expensive one by as much as Rs 50 crore (US$8.0 million), according to Wikipedia. The project has three type of flats. World residences are three and four bedroom houses, which have curved glass living room and wide sundecks attached to every room. World Villas are lavish four-bedroom flats that start from level 43 onwards. The curvature of villas let the owner have a 270-degree view. They also feature home theatre, a private pool, an outdoor Jacuzzi, and wide sundecks in every room. Finally, there are World Mansions as Lodha brands them. These are flats above 117 storeys. These houses are sprawled over two floors and offer 360-degree view of the city along with all world-class amenities. Among the 30 tallest residential buildings in the world, India boasts of five buildings, including World One.

Is this structurally stable? It shaped so weirded so thin and tall. Heavy winds or rain of typical Mumbai might topple it.Good luck millionaire buyers. One shot all are gone. ;)

you will fall into legal trouble one day for using someone else's photographs. I have taken some of the photos and posted then on a social platform.
