Guests staying at the luxurious Burj Al Arab hotel can expect revolving beds, gold tattoos and caviar facials The Burj Al Arab is one of the world's most luxurious hotels, and is shaped like an Arabian dhow sail rising from it's own man-made island 280 metres from the Dubai coast. Boasting the world's tallest atrium at a height of 180 metres, the hotel contains 202 suites, each with a sea view. General Manager Heinrich Morio said the hotel, with its floor to ceiling windows, is unique. "I always like to say it is a piece of art. It's a sculpture, something that is very well designed, something for the eye to behold and I think it evokes emotions in people," he said. Guests pay £1,600 a night for a bedroom deluxe suite, but £11,000 for the premium royal suites which include a 24-hour butler service. The royal suites are built on two floors and have en suite bedrooms each with jacuzzis and gold taps embedded with Swarovski crystals. A revolving bed enables the guest to swivel around to catch a sea view or to watch television. For the lady who has everything a real gold temporary tattoo is the ultimate accessory. The pictures of flowers, butterflies, sea horses are made from 99.9 pure platinum and gold foil and last just two or three days. When the stress of life starts to make itself seen, the hotel's spa also offers facials using caviar and real gold and platinum, promising to transform any dull complexion.
