New surveillance video shows workers at a mall in China knew about the faulty escalator before a mother fell to her death. Her husband is also speaking out, describing the moment she died. CNN's Will Ripley reports.

i have a question! so basically, since the escalator was still in operation, she fell into the trap door, got sucked in by the escalator, and crushed to death by it? im just wondering why there wasnt enough room for her to crawl out in time before she got sucked in? i figured humans wouldn't be small enough to get engulfed by it?
