I had the chance to be in Dubai for new years eve! OH MY GOD that was great, we stayed at the Rixos Hotel on the Palm and had a great view on the city and Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab. 500.000 fireworks were shot into the sky. Its a once in a lifetime experience and I would do it again every year if I had the chance! First we only saw the Burj Khalifa from a bit away, and because only the Burj was shooting fireworks and because it was so small we thought "really? thats it?" But then after 10 minutes the Burj Al Arab started shooting and then the palm and the was just great!!
