HA! I actually stayed at the Ryanggang back in 2012. It really wasn't that bad. I didn't get sick from the food and they had a nice bar in the lobby. They also boast a revolving roof top restaurant that doesn't revolve. I remember going up there one night and being stuck in the elevator for 1/2 an hour on the way back down due to a power cut. Luckily we had bought plenty of beers to take back to our rooms so we could continue drinking uninterupted. The worst thing about the rooms was the dust and dust mites. Be sure to pack plenty of Benedryl if you plan on staying there......Oh and the toilet paper, you may want to bring your own....The TP supplied by the hotel was clearly recycled with visible pieces of wood and wood pulp.
Other than that it was fine....... -
Pray for the Nk people, for they live with no freedom and in fear of going to concentration camps if the don't do everything just right. In the concentration camps are just like Nazi German camps. Many people who got over to other country's 'tell the story's of all this. And how the woman are raped and put in dog cages. One woman said all she did wrong was say that she went to school with the learder. And she was put in a dog cage and beaten a lot.
The U.S. Department of the Treasury added the young ruler, along with 10
other North Korean individuals and five entities, to the U.S. sanctions
list today. "Human rights abuses in the DPRK are among the worst in the
world," U.S. Department of State spokesman John Kirby said in a
statement today. "The government continues to commit extrajudicial
killings, enforced disappearances, arbitrary arrest and detention,
forced labor and torture. Many of these abuses are committed in the
political prison camps, where an estimated 80,000 to 120,000 individuals
are detained, including children and family members of the accused."
The department added that this is part of "the most comprehensive U.S.
government effort to date" to identify and sanction North Korea's
leaders responsible for the widespread abuses -- which they hope will
"send a signal to all government officials who might be responsible for
human rights abuses." Kim is among 23 total North Korean individuals and
entities cited in a report released by the U.S. Department of State
today for their role in serious human rights violations, hunting down
defectors or censorship in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
U.S. officials gathered the names with the cooperation of other
governments, international organizations and civil society groups

Those seven star hotels are sick products of capitalism and only those who steal can get in there. I say abolish capitalism and let all hotels be 3* but for everyone equally.
-
its very obvious that the bowl is for pouring water over your head
-
A slew of prostitutes at my door sounds like 5 stars to me!
-
I would definitely stay at the ski resort. Who cares about the natives, they're taught to hate us, and they don't know any better.
-
This reminds me of a video I watched a couple of hours ago. Inmates in a U.S. prison complaining about their food and cells. It's a prison, not a country club. What do you really expect from NK?

kim jong un is a odd bod in every sense of the word classing 6 star hotels in north korea I think if he cld he needs to smuggle himself to hotel in dubai where there are all star ranges righ to 7 star hotels where the service is second to none. But trying imply hotels in north korea as 6 star where I would only class them as ether B+B level or just 1 or 2 star graded hotels as the max for these hotels hes totally odd guy think its ok to kill his own relatives like they were sweets I hope some snipper gets him someday though

I'd love to visit North Korea out of sheer curiosity and just to say I visited juche-era North Korea. But I'm too opinionated and sometimes can't keep my mouth shut. I'm too afraid of getting myself arrested.
-
fucking capitalist piece of shit, North Korean hotels are built by free people and yes, they don't have golden showers but you know why? because unlike in america they don't subject everything to a class of rich priviliged white people like donald trump, fuck you fascist
-
