What we can see in the comment box is selfishness. You can see how ignorant people r these days... No one can accept the fact that Arabs r being mote successful than other countries... If this hotel was built in the US or in a European country none of this hate would be given. Sorry western people, you just have to accept the fact that we r becoming better than you.

In our next war Israel will have a new target

You are all retards actually its called APEIRON and was designed by sybarite architects based in london to be built in dubai, however its quite hard to find a developer willing to spend 3.6 billion on a single phase developments.
-
Thats the hotel off of black ops 2, is that even real?
-
big big budget needed
-
I was in a 35,5 star hotel in Helsinki last year.
-
Massive !!!!:)
-
Takes some serious bank account to build this hotel.
-
They're making these star numbers up as they go along.
-
Come to think that others pay million dollars just to go space. Perhaps it would be exciting but definitely very inconvenient for the passengers.
-
Perhaps, as an architecture student like me I would go in such kind of hotels only to study it from the inside haha but not stay in it except if it's for free lol BUT I LOVE SO MUCH STARING at high rise buildings, sky crappers, art structures and landscapes and try to think what's in the architect's mind why he designed it that way
-
Why? what is in a star for every hotel anyway? when you live only for a day or night or week perhaps and then pay with such huge amounts from your pocket even if you're so rich a biz man? For me it's a no no. I cant live a 12 or even 47 star hotel when you see a world of people go so hungry looking for food even for one meal a day. that's insensible for so rich people. Only politicians coz it's free for them and gamblers who will stay in such hotels.

Your able to very easily receive over 3500 dollars every month simply by answering basic online surveys at home. This website shows precisely how bit.ly\12v8kqD

I used to think 5 stars was the highest you can get, are there different star scales in each country, or is it international?

If Dubai is smart, they will take a cue from the designers of the Taipei 101 tower.

This comment will be wasted on probably 33% people who will read it, however, Dubai can only afford all of this type of thing because it is in an oil boom. When global peak oil finally occurs, whenever that is, the only work left for those buildings will be tearing them down. Unless after construction they are literally paying for themselves, they will be near kilometer tall useless hulks in need of repairs in 50 years or so. But who knows? They may outlast mankind!

Don't get me wrong it LOOKS so science fiction & futuristic, however, it also looks like an accident waiting to happen because the taller a structure is, the wider the base should be & / or it should be supported by "guys" or other things. It is not just gravity, the force of a 12 mile per hour breeze on all of that square yards of area is greater than a person realizes till you see it in action. I am only drawing from what I know about smoke stacks & radio towers.
-
why build it in a manner that tempts gravity to cause a disaster????
-
yup. has better culture but with only 3 night clubs which would you prefer nice boring culture or nice and happy life? haha
-
very nice logic. me, at least i've been in a 3 and 4 stars hotels but most in de luxe hotels so i can save more my money instead. We'll those people who actually frequent 5 star hotels got it free maybe like government officials, politicians haha because the real rich may not do it in their hard earned monies maybe. lol
