1. There are more in Sydney but this is the tallest in Australia

5. Q1 is only 78 stories high with the observation deck at 77; Melbournes residential eureka tower is 91 floors high with the viewing deck at 88. Q1 is only taller as it has a large mast protruding from its roof, where as the very top of Eureka Tower is the roof of the top floor, (no mast or antenna to increase its height.) That said, I must say that was a beautiful view from Q1 that beats eureka in every way haha; thanks for sharing! ;)

9. Great place!! Stayed in a Penthouse for a week this year... loved it!!! Wind noise on the higher levels is amazing!

11. Yeah we take em for granted but they rock don't they? I got to fly up the beach from Coolangatta recently at 500ft and the beaches looked f'n gorgeous. One great one after another. Also, at 500ft we were only halfway up Q1... its bloody massive! I might post the vid here on youtube - if anyone is interested look under q1 and cessna in a week or two.

14. the beaches round this area are fantastic, i stay not too far away in helensvale, emigrated here 3 months ago
15. not for much longer theirs a new one going up that will be 2-4 floors higher i thing but it will be taller the Q1
16. the rope would come short as it's over 300m high would have to free fall the rest lol
