The UK on Monday (April 21) celebrated Queen Elizabeth II's 88 birthday with a 41-Royal Gun Salute at Green Park. The Honourable Artillery Company (City of London Army Reserve) fired a 62 Gun Royal Salute by the Tower of London. Queen Elizabeth was born on 21 April 1926. Her birthday is also celebrated officially each year with the Trooping the Colour parade which this year will take place on June 14.
