A French climber, Alain Robert, has scaled one of Dubai's tallest skyscrapers. The daredevil did not use a harness and relied on only chalk and sticky tape applied to his fingertips to help him up the 75-storey Cayan Tower. The 52-year-old scaled the 307-metre high structure in an impressive 70 minutes on Sunday 12 April. Robert, who is often described as "The French Spiderman," is no stranger to climbing tall buildings. In 2011 he climbed the world’s tallest building; Dubai's 828-metre Burj Khalifa.
