the finished product looks just like the viking lucet knitting cord does. anyone out there know what I am talking about? Lucet is way easier and cooler too. I still would like to do this spool knitting. The lucet knitting tool is one piece of wood that looks just like s boys sling shot with a hole in it. Very,very easy to use. Cool video too.

I am not sure I am doing this properly. I have a loom with more little fingers on it. do you have a video that shows the movement in the beginning a little more slower?

thanks for this video - I found my old Knitting Nancy spool in the attic with my childhood toys and I'd forgotten how to use it. Now I can show my little girl how to make things with a spool knitter. I might even make a bigger one and we can start making dolls dresses. :0)

This is perfect! I was looking for something that would show my daughter how to use her "knitting tool" in the Friendship Bracelet kit I just bought her. The tools in her kit are pretty much the same as shown on the video, but the directions are kind of confusing. Seeing it in action makes it easier, thank you soooo much for making this video!
