Everyone one loves machine room videos! This is a 1999-2000 installation at a high-rise building in Minneapolis, MN. There are 6 huge high-speed gearless motors in this room serving levels 26+. These are very fast, probably 1500ft+/mn. 87hp AC drive, Thyssen TAC 50 controllers, I believe all this is post-Dover but all of the machines still say Dover Elevators on them. This being on the weekend, elevator traffic was light so not a lot of action to see for the higher floors.

If this is City Center, they were originally Dover. I did some business w/ EnviroTech in there winter of 2001/2. The cabs at least were modded w/ security (right after 9/11) by Otis. I have no idea what happened upstairs. If this isn't that building, please disregard. I just figured a building that tall w/ all that Dover...
