Listen here in books there is different theory I don't care if show is going this direction look evidence in books.

Totally confused by this one.

this theory sounds very much credible.. though i dont think that we wud ever get to see what relly happened in details.. but whatever u said can be a way things cud have happened.. the moment ser selmy told dany that rhaegar never liked killing and he loved to sing, i knew there's a very beautiful love story between him and lyanna. thanks for the video uzma.. u rock :P

Trinidad, I certainly believe that Tyrion will be a dragonrider. The books lend to this belief even more so than the television series. GRRM has admitted that Tyrion is his favorite character. As we know the origin of the figurative "game of thrones" was started by Rhaegar and Lyanna's love tryst. We all have figured out Lyanna is Jon's mother but was there another baby.
It is believed by many of us that are fascinated with this literature. It is possible that Dany or Meera Reed is one of the twins. I unlike others do not believe Dany is a twin of Jon Snow. I believe she is the last borne of the Mad King's immediate bloodline. Therefore Meera Reed is quite possible and Meera is with the new 3-Eyed Raven. She could be a dragonrider with Bran on her dragon. Bloodraven told Bran he would fly. But, that would exclude Jon Snow not Tyrion I believe.
I have wondered after the Battle for the Dawn is won. Will the world reset itself with Bran's doing to its beginning. And if so, at what point in history. Lyanna and Rhaegar or Ned Stark at Winterfell with his children, perhaps thwarting Littlefinger from starting the game in the first place with arranging the poisoning of the Hand and bankrupting the realm? -

Hello Ultimate Book Maniacs, what do you make of the growing theory that it was Princess "Daenerys" who was born in the Tower of Joy rather than Jon Snow? I really think that Ned Stark had both a nephew and a niece in Daenerys Stark Targaryean and Jon Dayne Snow. There was a babyswap in the books and Princess Daeny was protected by being passed off as the stillborn daughter of Queen Rhaella rather than the daughter Princess Rheanys that Rheagar was hoping for . . . a child which would have drawn the bloodlust of Robert Baratheon.Queen Rhaella had a well-established history of problematic pregnancies and stillbirths. I think she had one more (her ninth)as she dies in Dragonstone. I don't believe Lady Ashara Dayne, dies in childbirth to a stillborn that was the lie they told and as stated in AFFC " The best lies have a pinch of truth in them to give them flavor". Her baby was Jon Snow but Queen Rhaella dies in childbirth with a stillborn Daenerys. With the help of Howland Reed's magic powers over nature, Ned Stark and him swiftly sail from ToJ -Dorne to Dragonstone and back again to Starfall - Dorne where he drops off Dawn and picks up his brother's baby Jon Snow ( Ned would never make a bastard . . . would marry the mother)He cannot be hands on with his niece Daeny who has Targ features but he can be hands on with Jon who looks so much like his brother. People say that Quaithe is Lady Ashara and is looking after "Daenerys on behalf of Ned Stark and Lyanna Stark. I don't know if I believe this theory but if so it stands to reason. She probably feels some guilt for not loving Ned as he loved her and getting pregnant with his brother's baby in the Red Keep. What do you say??

I think this could very well be the logical resolution to that issue via HBO's series and it may well hold true for the Bantam Books series as well. Bravo on this theory! I don't know how much time Prince Rheagar and Lady Lyanna would have spent together in secret though since they were not exactly next-door-neighbors if you know what I mean (Prince Rheagar couldn't just jump over the fence and climb up a tree to get to her bedroom lol) What do you make of Lyanna being a homewrecker to a Princess with two tender aged children? I don't know how that squares with her character. I think your theory needs some help on this point but there is so little to work with from the show or the books on this character point. Would Lyanna carry on in secret with a married father of two and especially if her gripe with her betrothed was that Robert was a hounddog?? I honestly don't know.

the killing of the northern lords set off the war. I think Robert losing leanna added to his rage over it. reminds me of the Trojan war.

Jon Snow and Meera Reed are the Mad King's children.

Makes sense to me. There isn't enough detail given on the circumstances surrounding Rhaegar and Lyanna. What you are saying makes so much more sense. Especially, if Lyanna was a bad ass like they say. I think that's what turned him on to her, she was so different than all of the other girls. I am pretty sure a lot of guys spoke highly of her, and Rhaegar probably heard all about her.I can only imagine how he felt when he met her , and could put a name to the face. He was probably enamored of her from the very beginning.

Nice new take on things

Lost Cinema - I couldn't reply to you..
We just know that the Tourney was held in 281 AC & that Robert's rebellion's duration was 282-283 AC. So it's possible the tourney was in the end of 281 AC, like Nov or Dec of an year? then it's possible the rebellion started after a few months?? -
I would say that Rhaegar met Lyanna at Harrehal as the mystery knight he wad ordered to find by the Mad King. The Mad King was paranoid about unknown knight because of his fear of assassination. Rhaegar found out that Lyanna was the mystery knight but refused to bring her in and admired her strength. Rhaegar after realizing he was not the prince that was promised was obsessed with producing as many male heirs that would prove to be this prince. Let's remember that Elia Martell was an arranged marriage and she was always sickly. Therefore, Rhaegar was enamored with her strong spirit and wanted more children. Also, most women that were not Targaryen had trouble having kids by a Targaryen. Elia almost died having his children, so who would be more of a fitting mate to bear him a strong male child other than the She-Wolf and mystery knight. So let's make comparisons, Lyanna died in childbirth; Lord Tywin's wife died in childbirth and Dany's mother died in childbirth. Only death can pay for life. Therefore, there are significant clues that point to Dany, Tyrion and Jon being the three heads of the Dragon. Recall how the Dragon Viserus allowed Tyrion to talk to him and touch him because of Targaryen blood. Rhaegal is Jon's dragon. The biggest dragon is Drogon, which belongs to Dany. Dany is the prince/princess that was promised. She was born again under the sign of a bleeding star, she was born in salt and smoke on Dragonstone and raised dragons from rocks or petrified eggs. She came out the fire with three dragons. The dragons are Lightbringer and fire made flesh. Hers is the song of ice and fire and Jon and Tyrion will aid her as Targaryen blood can only ride the Dragons.

Nice twist! I like this! 👍

This is still R + L = J. The show has been hinting all along that Lyanna wasn't kidnapped and raped. The different detail is that Lyanna was already pregnant or got pregnant at the Tourney at Harrenhal. A Wiki of Fire and Ice "Rhaegar's indiscretion culminated in his abduction of Lyanna a year later, which touched off the War of the Usurper", which lasted "close to a year" [Chapter 12 Game of Thrones]. That's almost two years. That they ran off together because Lyanna was pregnant is a possible idea, and I like that idea. What else could they do if she was pregnant? But evidently, that they broke up at Harrenhal doesn't fit anyone's scenario.

well, sorry to say that but it is a common theorie. I didn´t even see a slight difference to what i've read. Maybe someone can tell me whats supposed to be different?
-
