Dubai, World's Tallest Buildings

These are the World's Top 10 Tallest buildings. It only includes the buildings that are finished until 2007, and the height includes the spire on top of the buildings but not the antennas. I chose this criteria because it is the most used and accepted. I know the list differs a little now, but i am waiting a little longer for it to change more, so I can make a new updated video. Also, it doesn't include free standing structures like the CN tower or other similar towers because they are "Non building structures" because they are not designed for continuous human occupancy. Which puts them in a different classification. So, here are the buildings: 509m - Taipei 101 Tower 452m - Petronas Towers 1 & 2 442m - Sears Tower 421m - Jin Mao Building 414m - Two International Finance Center 391m - CITIC plaza 384m - Shun Hing Square 381m - Empire State Building 374m - Central Plaza CREDITS: Information and pictures: wikipedia.org architecture.about.com emporis.com

When calculating a skyscraper's heigh, I prefer buildings without spires. Adding a spire just to increase the overall height is cheating. At the moment, Shanghai World Financial Center, at 492m, is the tallest of all and has the tallest skydeck. Officially though, the tallest is Taipei 101 (509 m including spire, but only 450 without it).

Wow China sure has many of the tall ones :) There's a new building in Hong Kong - 480 Metres. 2nd tallest in the world.

Bud if you look up Building in the dictionary, it states "In architecture, construction, engineering and real estate development the word building may refer to one of the following: Any man-made structure used or intended for supporting or sheltering any use or continuous occupancy" and it is possible to get into the CN tower so therfor it IS classified as a building.

The CN tower was built in 1972 and is currently the 2nd tallest building in the world behind the Burj Dubai. Both, particularly the CN was built WAY before to published this video, so I think you need to research before posting information on the web.

HEY! you forgot burj, the new skyscraper in dubai, 818 meters!
