The tower at Dubai Creek Harbour would be 928m tall, beating Burj Khalifa, which is 828m tall. Dubai will be home to the tallest tower in the world - dwarfing the current tallest tower in the world, Burj Khalifa, by 100 meters (328 feet). Mohammed Alabbar, Chairman of Emaar Properties PJSC, made this revelation in a recent interview with CNN. The $1 billion Tower will be built at Dubai Creek Harbour by the developer, that already holds the record for building the tallest building in the world, Dubai's iconic Burj Khalifa. This is actually wrong, they later changed the height to 1.2km and the tower has started and will finish before kingdom tower in 2018, it will be the tallest building in the world, this interview was done before they were sure of the height, Dubai is always going to be number 1!!

If mr alabbar want that tower to be the tallest...just don't forget that kingdom tower which is already half through in jeddah,Saudi arabia:)

At 928 meters, it will play second fiddle to the Jeddah Tower, slated to top off at 1008 meters...and is already under construction... ahead of this new tower.
